Later visit the Grand Royal Palace dedicated to the ceremony of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha. Then, we visit the Wat Traimit which is well known as the Golden Buddha.

Afternoon, boarding on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the temple of the Aube. Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation

Bangkok – Damnoen Saduak Floating Market – Kanchanaburi (Drive)

Early in the morning, we drive southwest of Bangkok, visit the Maeklong railway market, take photo, enjoy the local snack in the market before driving to Damnoen Saduak, a rural floating market. Stop for a long-tailed boat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Then we continue the road to the city of Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Lunch is served in a floating restaurant next to the Kwai River Bridge (by your own account). We continue to Wang Pho to get on a train ride along the railway to enjoy beautiful river view around 30 minutes.

Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (Drive)

Later depart to Ayutthaya, it takes about more than hour to reach the former Thai capital. Witness the glory of the ancient capital through its temple and palace ruins. First you will visit Wat Phu Khao Thong, or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”, which is located just outside Ayutthaya. Then you will proceed to the ancient palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. You will also visit Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit, one of the largest bronze Buddha’s in Thailand. Have lunch free at your own. Afterwards you will visit Wat Lokaya Sutha. This temple enshrines a large reclining Buddha image.

Ayutthaya – Bangkok (Drive) & Bangkok – Chiang Rai (By Flight)

Morning we visit will be the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era. The palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles. It’s the favorite summer palace of the King. And transfer back to Bangkok for flight to Chiang Rai.

Later we will visit the local market to discover the local products. After that we visit the world famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined. Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined. Then short drive from Chiang Rai City to Black House. Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs. Lunch on your own and afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them. Transfer back to Chiang Rai.

Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai (Drive)

Later drive to visit Chiang Saen the ancient city located on the Khong River Bank. After that, visit to Opium museum where show about the opium’s history in the past in Thailand. Have lunch free at the local restaurant at the Golden triangle. Taking a boat trip along Mekong Kong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos meet at the Golden Triangle.

Afternoon transfer directly to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai check in at your pre booked Hotel

Morning will be mainly devoted to the walking tour of the old town with a stop at the old wall, the moat and a door of the old town. You will see the most beautiful temples of Chiang Mai: Wat Phra Singh temple, Wat Phan Tao temple, Wat Chedi Luang temple. Then you will stroll along small streets lined with traditional houses, where you will take rickshaw tour. After that, you will take a walking through the central market of Warorot. In the afternoon you will visit the Doi Suthep hill. To brighten up your evening, browse the Night Market for yourself.

Chiang Mai – Mae Sapok Trekking

Later departure from your hotel in a private car for a day of trekking in the villages of the white Karen tribe. You start with a walk in the jungle (around 2 hours) to the village where you meet and interact with the villagers. Continue walking in the jungle (about an hour) to go to the beautiful waterfall. You will enjoy a relaxing swim and picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you take a pleasant bamboo raft ride along the river.
Return to Chiang Mai around 17h – 17h30. Free dinner
