Then we go to the Alleppey jetty to board our overnight experience on traditional rice barge and cruise along the tranquil Backwater canals for their mesmerizing and alluring charms spread across the whole area and Periyar, known for its wild life sanctuaries provide a chance to get wild in the jungles and sail through the streams that are surrounded by lush green surroundings make for a fascinating journey. Further we proceed to Munnar one of the prominent hill station of South India. You will be picked up from the hotel by 0800 Hrs by our executive/Guide and taken to the Gateway of India at Mumbai. From here, cruise by boat to reach the Elephanta Caves.On your arrival at the island you will proceed to the Elephanta Caves, which contain a collection of rock art linked to the sect of Shiva. At Elephanta, Indian art found one of its most perfect expressions, particularly in the huge and high reliefs of the main Cave.

GATEWAY OF INDIA - Situated on Apollo Bunder, The Gateway of India was built to commemorate the landing of King George V and Mary in December 1911, Erected in 1924; The Gateway was designed by George Wittet in an Indo Saracenic style with influence from Gujarat. It is built from local sandstone, has a central hall with a low dome and two adjoining side halls also with low domes. The Gateway was the former landing place for passengers entering Mumbai. RAJABAI TOWER, BOMBAY HIGH COURT, MARINE DRIVE - Eulogized by Bollywood, Marine Drive caresses the seashore from Nariman Point to the foot of the Malabar Hill. Passing Chowpatty Beach, Marine Drive is also famous as the Queen's Necklace. One of the busiest roads in Mumbai, it is also one of the breeziest due to its proximity to the sea, CHOWPATTY BEACH, HANGING GARDEN, MANI BHAVAN, CHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS, FORT - The Fort area in Mumbai is choc-a-bloc with old Victorian, Gothic buildings. An important financial and commercial center this area is always full of activity. The BSE or the Bombay Stock Exchange on Dalal Street is also located in this area. THE JEHANGIR ART GALLERY, COLABA and DHOBI GHAT - A unique feature of Mumbai, the dhobi is a traditional laundryman, who will collect your dirty linen, wash it, and return it neatly pressed to your doorstep. All for a pittance. The "laundries" are called "Ghats": row upon row of concrete wash pens, each fitted with its own flogging stone. The clothes are soaked in sudsy water, thrashed on the flogging stones, then tossed into huge vats of boiling starch and hung out to dry. Next they are ironed and piled into neat bundles. The most famous of these Dhobi Ghats is at Saat Rasta near Mahalaxmi Station where almost two hundred dhobis and their families work together in what has always been a hereditary occupation

Continue the city tour and visit the Jallian Walla Bagh β Martyrsβ Memorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar and visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. It is surrounded by the lovely garden Ram Bagh. Maharaja Ranjit Singh is a prominent figure, who had carved a niche for himself in the history of India. The Museum displays objects connecting to Maharaja Ranjit Singh such as arms and armour, outstanding paintings and centuryβs old coins and manuscripts.
In the evening visit to the Golden Temple to see the βPalki Ceremonyβ also known as the putting to bed ceremony. To the sound of hymns and drums, a gold and silver gilded palanquin (a carriage carried by bearers) decorated in silk carries the Guru Granth Sahib holy book from the main shrine to the gate of the inner sanctum.

The Walk will take you through the streets and bazaars of Old Delhi and experience traditional Indian lifestyles. Visit the Jama Masjid mosque, Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk market. Taste some famous snacks, and enjoy a short ride by rickshaw to the spice market.
Once you have completed your Heritage walk you are met by your driver & guide who will then take you to visit the, Raj Ghat the cremation place of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
Later then proceed on a Private Guided tour of New Delhi visiting India Gate β a war memorial which was built to salute the brave Indian soldiers of the British Army who lost their lives in World War 1, Rastrapati Bhawan or the Presidentβs House and the Parliament Street where you can see various government buildings, Humayun's Tomb - This tomb, built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, Qutab Minar - which is the tallest brick minaret in the world

The Imambara is primarily known for its incredible maze, known as Bhul Bhulaiya locally, which is located on the upper floor of the monument. It is said that there are 1024 ways to get inside the maze but only 2 to come out, The Chhota Imambara, is one of the most beautiful and attractive buildings in the old city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. This imposing monument lies to the west of Bara Imambara and is a true sight to behold. The Chhota Imambara was initially a congregation hall for Shia Muslims that was built by Muhammad Ali Shah, who was the third Nawab of Awadh, in 1838. Rumi Darwaza is a striking gateway standing tall at sixty feet tall in the old city of Lucknow. It lies between the Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara exhibiting ancient Awadhi architecture. Built by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, it is also known as the Turkish Gate because it is modelled after Bab-i-Humayun gateway in Turkey. The British Residency of Lucknow, which is also a Residential Complex served as the headquarters for the generals of the British East India Company. However, with the 1857 uprising, this once composed complex turned into a British refugee camp during that revolt.
In the evening visit Hazratganj Market, the central shopping district of Lucknow, has a long history behind it and has undergone a great makeover that bridges the past and the present and continues to serve as Lucknow's central shopping arcade.

And this temple even not houses the statue or bust of Bharat Mata; instead it has a very big relief map of India carved out of marble. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. The map is said to be in scale both longitude as well as latitude wise, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple a major sacred attraction, dedicated to Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of the city. The temple houses a Shivalinga, which is said to be one amongst the twelve Jyotirlinga, the fiery pillar of light, by which Lord Shiva beckoned his divine supremacy, broke through the earthβs crust and gleamed towards the heaven, The Sankat Mochan Temple is one of the oldest temples in the city dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is situated on the banks of Pauranic River Assi. Goswamiji has specifically named the deity "SankatMochan" which means reliever from troubles and Benares Hindu University is the largest residential university in Asia.

The Ganga Aarti at Varanasi is an uplifting spiritual ritual. While facing river Ganga, the Hindu priests use lamps which are circled around in a clockwise manner, accompanied by chants or songs in praise of Mother Ganga. It is believed that after the ritual is complete, the Goddess showers her blessing onto each individual present there.

Early this morning get ready for a dawn boat ride on the River Ganges. The Ganges is the most sacred river in India. Hindus believe that after taking a bath in the River Ganges their sins get washed away. The Cremations of the dead bodies also takes place here on the banks of the river. After the boat ride walk through the fascinating narrow twisting lanes of the city to watch the performance of various Hindu rituals by the pilgrims.
After the boat trip on the Ganges we return back to the hotel.

Sarnath was made centre of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashokaβs Pillar. In the Archaeological Museum we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts.

Later proceed for visit Mettupatty dam is a storage dam built in the mountains of Kerala to conserve water for hydroelectricity.Due to this dam many wild animals and birds flourish in this region. It is a site for scenic beauty. Eravikulam national park is a park set up for the preservation of endangered Nilgiri Tahr, also known as Nilgiri Ibex is a rare species of mountain goat. Here you can also spot wild elephants, Malabar civet, phyhon etc. This Park is situated in the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. (Opening of park depends on Breeding Season of animals)
Later proceed for a Short Trek (Soft Trekking)
A 40 minutes trek along the Tea Plantations would take you to the top. You would then walk through ridge area. On to your left, you could see beautiful grasslands while on to your right it is sprawling tea plantation. Make use of your time taking pleasure in the heavenly sights all around you. Next up a two and a half hour [In some cases, 3 hours] hike down through the thick sholas and Coffee-Cardamom plantations would take you to the finishing point

Later proceed for a private guided City tour of Cochin visiting Mattancherry Palace also known as the Dutch Palace. This palace is also famous for depicting Kerala mural paintings. The palace is built in the traditional style of Kerala architecture. Jewish Synagogue Also known as Paradesi Synagogue. It is the oldest synagogue in the entire Commonwealth of Nations and was built in 1568 by the Malabar Yehudan people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin. Chinese Fishing Nets are the most iconic and popular attractions of Kerala peculiar to Kochi located next to Fort Kochi. One of the significant cultural symbols of Kerala, the spot is also one of the most photographed places in all of town, attracting hordes of tourists and photographers on an everyday basis. The image of the beautifully silhouetted fishing nets against the backdrop of clear waters at sunset is really appeasing and makes up for a breathtakingly beautiful sight. St. Francis Church is the oldest European church in India. The great Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama who discovered the sea route from Europe to India died in Kochi. His body was buried in this church.

Evening enjoy a 2 hour boat cruise during sunset in the Cochin Harbor with spectacular views of the Marine Driveand Bolgatty Island. See the sunset from the boat where the Kochi Lagoon opens out into the Arabian Sea.
