Arrive Kathmanu β Nagarkot (Drive)
Upon arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu you are met by our representative and he will assist you to your private car and you proceed for tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur Durbar Square - one of attractions in Bhaktapur. The district has an average elevation of around 1,320 meters, and at its highest point is a mere 1,350 meters above sea level. Among the three major cities of Kathmandu valley, Bhaktapur retains some of its ancient way of life, reminding you of what the entire Kathmandu valley must have looked like during the medieval period. The remarkable architecture, the exquisite woodcarvings and metal craft that can be seen around the city takes one back to the time of the Malla rulers who patronized art like no other dynasty. The pagoda style temples rise above the Bhaktapur skyline, the Pottery square, the Palace (Durbar) Square which dates back to the 12th century, where devotees still celebrate their centuries old festivals and the temple squares that still remain vibrant, are Bhaktapurβs major attractions. The Cityβs archaic look itself draws tourists besides the elaborate festivals that remain unchanged for centuries. The Durbar Square is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the valley.
Drive to Nagarkot Hill station, for another one hour. Nagarkot, at an altitude of 2,175 meter above the sea level, At sunrise, the Nagarkot, 32 KM north east of Kathmandu on the northern fringe of Kathmandu valley. It is famous for its Himalayan views- the Himalayan peaks at sunrise are a magnificent sight to behold. Nagarkot is surrounded by thickly forested hills of pine trees which give you an idyllic scene. It is an outstanding hilltop that offers great views of Himalayas, breathtaking mountain scenery and the most impressive views of sunrise and sunset. Nagarkot commands one of the broadest views of the Himalayas in the Kathmandu valley (8 Himalayan ranges of Nepal out of 13 from here). The ranges include Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Number range with views of the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park.

Later proceed for Kathmandu. Start tour of Pashupatinath temple. The temple is reserved as one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindu devotees all around the world. Wooden Sculptures, Statues and different carvings dedicated to the Hindu god, Shiva as well as other deities in the complex represent the templeβs richness in art. The temple lies on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River while aryaghat, a place built for cremating the bodies of Hindus, also lies near. The sacred temple has been listed in the UNESCOβs World heritage site. Non Hindus are strictly prohibited from entering the temple. Continue with the tour by visiting Boudhanath Stupa. The Stupa is one of the important pilgrims for Buddhists. The Stupa is surrounded by one hundred and eight small niches accommodating the icons of Buddhas, Bodhisatavas and other female deities. The serene environment in the surrounding of the Stupa has added to its attractions. Morning tour of Swoyambhunath Stupa. As one enters the valley, the first sight to catch the visitorβs eye is the hemispherical white dome (stupa) of the Swoyambhunath perched majestically atop a hill on the western fringe of the Kathmandu Valley. The stupa Symbolize the body of the Buddha, which is nothing other than the cosmos itself.. Afternoon visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Its central lower part stands at 1,425 meters (4,675 ft) above sea level. Kathmandu valley is surrounded by four mountain ranges .Kathmandu Durbar Square in Kathmandu is the most extensive of the three royal palace squares, not only in size but also in scale of its open space and structures. It contains 60 important monuments, of which the majority date from the 17th and 18th centuries. Continue with tour of Patan Durbar Square. In comparison to the Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, it is smaller in size, but it comprises a number of unique architectural styles. Manga Hiti, the sunken stone water spout, and the magnificent Krishna Temple, a Shikhara-style temple built of stone, are but a few examples of its opulence. More than 30 monuments, each a masterpiece, are clustered in a small area measuring roughly 160 by 70 metres.

Later Drive to Chitwan National Park- 5/6 hoursβ drive. Chitwan District is one of 77 districts of Nepal, and is located in the southwestern part of ... Elevation. 415 meter. Bharatpur, the second largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu, as its district headquarter. In the southern region of Nepal, the jungles of Chitwan National Park await you with wildlife experiences like no other. Go in search of the majestic Royal Bengal tiger and watch the greater one-horned rhinoceros roam free, while the great Asiatic elephants move about the jungle in herds. Chitwan National Park is the closest and the ideal place to go for wildlife safari. Witness real wilderness in the jungle, go for Elephant back Safari in the depth of the forest or ride a silent canoe and catch wildlife by surprise. Go for a jungle walk accompanied by an experienced guide who knows the jungle like the back of his head. Lunch will be provided either at En- route Highway Restaurant or at the Hotel. Whole day Jungle Safari (Elephant ride, canoe ride, visit to Elephant breeding center, bird watching etc.) There is also a slogan "Visit Chitwan, Ride Elephant" popularized for promotion of tourism in Sauraha. Four persons can ride an elephant at one time. Seated high on the back of a trained elephant exploring the grassland and core area of the park, you became a integral part of the life of the national park. The elephant safari through, not the most comfortable rides, is an amazing experience. And it doesn't take to long spot at least a rhino in the forest. They generally last between 1 and 1.5 hours. If you came to Chitwan to relax, the canoe ride is a good way to do so. On your visit to the hattisar (Elephant Breeding Center) you will demonstrate how elephantβs meals are prepared and how they eat, and you will get various information on the nature and habits of elephants. The unique center was established in 1985 for the captive breeding of domesticated elephant trapping for domestication. Located in Sauraha the Elephant breeding center was set up to protect the endangered elephants in the region. There are often many baby elephants there and a small museum. The center is walkable from Sauraha but it will take 1 hour depending on the heat and road conditions. Tours or rickshaw transport are available part of the way.

Later proceed for to Pokhara for another 4/5 hours. Paradise- Pokhara, situated in central Nepal, is nestled in a region of awesome natural beauty. The valley is filled with lush vegetation, swift flowing rivers and dotted with clear, shimmering lakes. It is one of the major towns of Nepal, providing a perfect gateway from the chaotic life in the cities. Pokhara is blessed with the backdrop of one of the most dramatic sceneries in the world. A 140 KM of panorama made up of towering Himalayan ranges seen close enough to be touched on a clear day. If Kathmandu is the cultural hub of Nepal, then Pokhara is the center of adventure. It is the only place in the world from where one can enjoy the magnificent view of mountains having elevation above 8000 meters while sitting below 1000 meter above sea level. Out of the 14 highest mountains of the world, which are known as eight thou sanders having elevation above 8000 meters, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu can be seen from Pokhara. It is an enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley, which is also gateway to the world famous Annapurna trekking trail.

Later start the tour of Pokhara valley, which covers the visit of International Mountain Museum, Davis fall, Tibetan refugee camp, Gupteswore Mahadev Cave, Bendabashini temple. International Mountain Museum: The museum is situated just 1.5km south from the Pokhara airport. The spot is rightly selected as we can enjoy the unique view of 3 massive mountain peaks; Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu which are above 8,000 meters before our eyesight and no place in the world offers us such a panoramic view. It provides information on mountaineering, the worldβs mountain system, mountain cultures, environments, prominent people in mountain history, mountain geography, ecology, exhibition of mountaineering history and implied methods. Opens daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Davis Fall (Patale Chhango): The water flowing from Phewa lake shows a wonderful fall. We find hollow sandy part and a heavy fall of water within its natural trench. It looks really amazing scene of rainbow with sunlight when a volume of water falls in the deep rocky gorge and produces the water vapor especially in summer. Tibetan refugee camp: Since 1959, a group of Tibetan refugees have been living in Nepal. One such is Tashiling Tibetan Refugee Settlement at Chhorepatan, which is located near two popular sightseeing sites i.e. Davis Fall and Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. One may visit Tibetan monastery, hand-made carpet factory, schools etc. in this community. Gupteswore Mahadev Cave: Gupteshwar Mahadev cave is just opposite sides of Davis Fall where the Hindu religion people worship a temple of their great god Mahadev inside the cave. Bindabasini Temple: It is located on the top of a small hill at the north end of the old bazaar. This is believed as one of the oldest temples in the valley, and is most famous in Pokhara. On lucky days, one may get to witness a Hindu wedding ceremony taking place, in the premises of this temple. One hour boat rides in Phewa Lake (5/6 Pax in one boat). Sail the boat on the lake over the mountain shadows. Chat with your loved ones and say βwowβ¦β together with your family over blue water. Those are the wonderfully relaxing ways. After boat rides, you will be given a free time in famous Lakeside Street (just outside the hotel area) for shopping or just road around or simply sit down at one of the coffee shops beside the lake and enjoy.

Early morning excursion to Sarankot hill. Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourists can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains such as Annapurna Massif, Fishtail Mountain, Dhaulagiri range, and Manaslu. Sarangkot is only 5 km from Lake Side from Pokhara and highest view point at 1592m high for Sunrise and Sunset view over the snowy peaks. Sarangkot can be reached easily by 45 minutes by a car ride to the top from Pokhara and then 45 minutes hike up to the main view point. Paragliding can also be done from Sarangkot. From Sarangkot, on the northern direction we can see Dhaulagiri in the far west. Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. On the southern direction the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city. Paragliding in Nepal can be a truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for the adventure seeker. A trip will take you over some of the best scenery on earth, as you share airspace with Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles, kites and float over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungle, with a fantastic view of the majestic Himalaya. Paragliding is another adventurous activities being carried out in Nepal to amuse the visitors. There are various places suitable for organizing paragliding but Sarangkot (1592m) in Pokhara is the best among all.

The flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular in entire Himalayas, the journey offers fascinating views and an exciting descent into the Kingdom, you will be met by our representative, and then drive to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan, visit Iron Saintβs Bridge, take a short walk to this legendary this Unique Bhutanese. Worth every step because these collection of irons chains are dating back to 15th century and you can see it today on 21th century. Visit Memorial Chorten also known as Thimphu Chorten, this stupa is located at the heart of the Thimphu city and was built in 1974 to honour the third King of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk (1928-1972) popularly known as Father of modern Bhutan.
Conclude the dayβs sightseeing with visit of Trashichhoedzong, or βthe fortress of the glorious religionβ. This is one of the most impressive buildings situated along the right flank of the Thimphu River built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel who unified Bhutan and was later reconstructed in 1962 by the third King His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. This impressive fortress/monastery houses Secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty, the King and various government offices.

Point (Kuensel Phodrang). It holds one of the largest Buddhaβs statue in the country of
169 feet (51.5m), made of bronze and gilded in gold. Visit Mini Takin Zoo. The Takin is the national animal of Bhutan, and looks like a cross between a cow and a goat. Legend has it that the animal was created by the great Buddhist yogi, Drukpa Kuenley, and it can be found only in Bhutan and nearby areas. Taxonomists place the animal in a category of its own as it is not similar enough to any other animal to fit established categories.
If you want to mingle with the Bhutanese people and jostle with local farmers amongst the aroma of organic fruits and vegetables, the Centenary Farmers Market is the place to be. Smiling tourists watch in awe as locals bargain with the vendors and you could even stock up on your organic fruits for the coming days.
Visit the Simply Bhutan Museum which is a living studio showcasing the age old culture and traditional heritage of Bhutan. Walk for a few minutes from the Museum to Changangkha Lhakhang the oldest temple in Thimphu.

Later drive to Puanakha the first former capital of Bhutan till 1955 via Dochu-la pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft.) stopping briefly here to take in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road. If skies are clear, the following peaks can be seen from this pass (left to right): Masagang (7,158m), Tsendagang (6,960m), Terigang (7,060m), Jejegangphugang (7,158 m ), Kangphugang (7,170 m ), Zongphugang (7, 060 m ), a table mountain that dominates the isolated region of Lunana - finally Gangkar puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7,497m. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to Lama Drukpa Kuenley, who as the famous saint of the Bhutanese people is known affectionately as βDivine Mad Monkβ. Then drive on to Punakha (Punakha was the former capital of Bhutan) and visit Punakha Dzong, which lies between two rivers known as Phochu and Mochu, Symbolizing the masculine and the feminine co-existence their currents are of different colors and they unite at this spot and Overnight in Punakha (altitude 1300m)

After breakfast drive to north of Punakha for a short excursion to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten. Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten stands majestically on a strategic ridge above the Punakha valley. Thragthung Dudjom Lingpa visualized it out of Buddhist treasure teachings. It is sacred religious edifices, which will help to ward off negative forces, promote peace, stability and harmony in a changing world. It is the only one of its kind in the world. This chorten is a fine architectural and traditional manifestation whose details of constructional design are drawn from the scriptures and not from the technical books. The Chorten is also an esoteric embodiment of positive forces prevailing over all negative influences in the three forms of existence. According to Lamas, the Chorten is a quintessence of Buddhism and in various ways it will promote the health, happiness of the king and people thereby subjugating all evils.
After visiting the Punakha Dzong/Fortress of Great Bliss, drive to the Nunnery and enjoy the spectacular views of Punakha and Wangdue valleys.

After breakfast excursion to Taktshang Monastery (approx. 5 hours round trip walk): It is one of the most famous of Bhutanβs monasteries, perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called βTigerβs Nestβ. This site has been recognized as a most sacred place and visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. The hike to the monastery makes a splendid half day excursion.
Drukgyel Dzong, a ruined fortress where Bhutanese warriors fought Tibetan invaders centuries ago. A In the early 1954, the Drukgyel Dzong was completely destroyed by fire and today only the ruins remains. The snowy dome of sacred Chomolhari, "mountain of goddess'' can be seen in all her glory from the approach road to the Dzong. While return to the hotel, along the way, visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by Tibetan King, Songtsen Gampo. The building of this temple marks the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan.
