Named after the Kurumbas, a forgotten tribe, the resort is a tribute to the ancient clan that co-existed happily with nature in this hot spot of great bio-diversity.

When you arrive at the thatched open-sided reception, warm hues, genuine smiles greet you … The resort, wrapped in a haze of green, sprawls earthy and natural… meandering pathways lead you to our tribal-style cottages and suites… all crafted with natural materials, with creature comforts in place.

Inhale the heady aroma of nutmeg, pepper and cloves… the resort has been built artfully in a 10-acre former spice plantation, sculpted into a hill… without felling a single tree! Jacaranda, rosewood, jackwood trees rise tall and sinewy like Kurumba warriors… pepper vines wrap themselves around the thick trunks…
