Gakiling lodge offers sixteen spacious wood-panelled room with large bathrooms. The rooms are moderately but adequately furnished with large beds and option of twin & king size, working desk, dressing mirror, heating, Wi Fi, tea / coffee maker, hair dryer, attached bath & running hot & cold water. All rooms open to a large veranda to capture nature’s bounty and to enjoy the sunrise view too. Its spacious restaurant with traditional décor offers local, Indian and Chinese cuisine in a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is heated using Bukhari (traditional wood burning stove) and appears like a large family dining room while owner’s family is always there to ensure personalised attention & utmost care. The attached bar offers range of mostly local but quality beverages. Black Necked Crane Information Centre located walking distance from the lodge is run by Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN) and has an observation room with high-power telescope for spotting the cranes and also has a souvenir shop and information desk for information about the history of the region.
